Sickle Cell Awareness Day: The Importance of Education

This episode of the Health Analytic Insights Podcast is all about bringing awareness to Sickle Cell Disease in the the health, public and political space and the role technology can play in helping to educate others. I interviewed Mrs. Lanre Tunji-Ajayi M.S.M, who is the president/CEO of the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO) and the founding president/CEO of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada (SCDAC). Under her leadership, Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) achieved a new level of visibility and recognition in Canada as her advocacy work resulted in improved patient access to life-saving and disease-modifying therapies.
